Fely J's @ GreenBelt

>> Monday, January 10, 2011

You haven't tried all the Filipino restaurants around if you've never been at Fely J's.

Situated at 2/F Greenbelt 5, Fely J's can easily be spotted, accessible to many. They offer openness and simplicity evidenced by their glass walls and wood furnitures.

Their menu is a list of typical Filipino food, sometimes with a twist, like their Lamb Kaldereta, Bistik Tagalog ng Kano and some Salads. For me, their price is a bit mid to high range probably because of the consumer they have targeted.

In this restaurant is where the newlyweds, Rina and Rodel, hosted their wedding reception. :)

the private area for us

some pinoy appetizers:
chicharong bulaklak, fried shrimp and calamares

Dili-Cious Rice
jasmin rice topped with dilis

the classic Sinigang na Baboy

either this is
Kankong sa Gata or Ginataang Gulay at Hipon

the deadly and sinful
Crispy Patang Bawang

Chicken "Mabuting" Inasal

Tilapia with Sweet Plum Sauce
For Dessert:

Bayabas Pie
made with fresh guava with cinammon. tastes just like apple pie. you wouldn't know it's guava! :)

Sikreto ni Maria Clara
suman, vanilla ice cream, mangoes

we had a FEAST!

Overall, this place is refreshing if you're tired with the regular Max's, Centro and Gerry's and the like, plus I'm sure their dessert selection will keep you coming back.
